Mackenzie Farkus is a multimedia producer for The Christian Science Monitor. formerly of GBH’s Boston Public Radio with Jim Braude and Margery Eagan. She previously interned for GBH’s higher education desk, keeping listeners updated with the latest impacts of COVID-19 on higher education. Her first internship was at MuckRock, where she uncovered FBI files detailing President Richard Nixon’s Watergate campaign to take down Representative Shirley Chisholm.
She is also an alum of the National Association of LGBTQ Journalists (NLGJA) Student CONNECT program, a 2020 Simmons University graduate, the former editor in chief of the Simmons Voice, and a 2019-2020 editor for CommTracks.
