Mackenzie Farkus is a multimedia producer for The Christian Science Monitor, where she produces the Monitor’s podcast offerings and occasionally writes features. She previously worked for GBH’s Boston Public Radio. Her bylines have also appeared in MuckRock and the Simmons Voice.

She is also an alum of the 2025 Transom Traveling Workshop in Amherst, the 2019 National Association of LGBTQ Journalists (NLGJA) Student CONNECT program, and a 2020 Simmons University graduate.
